He transferred from the Dorchester church to Milton in 1687. He served a short time in King Philip's War. In Milton, he lived on the east side of the Brush Hill Rd., oposite the Robbin's place. In 1891, traces of his cellar still remained, and his well was still in use. In 1710 he was interested in a grist mill on the Neponset River, at Mattapan.
