MRS. ETHEL SMITH
Mrs. Ethel M. Smith, 88, Route 2, U, died at 10 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 13, 1968) at Fontana Nurshing Home in Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Weaver-Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Oscar F. Jones of the first Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mayview. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith was born oct. 13, 1880 in Urbana Township, daughter of Martin and Jemima Harry. She married Ralph Smith May 6, 1901. He died nov. 18, 1960.
Survivors include four children: Roland of Urbana, Harry of Fairmount, Rex of Madison, N.J., and Mrs. T. M. (Mary) Stevens of near Urbana; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death also by one daughter, three sisters and a brother.
