The family moved from Thayer Co (Hebron), NB to Gresham, OR in about the year 1891/2. Fayette listed as a widower in the 1900 census of Gresham, OR.

1890 Census - Gresham, Multnomah co, OR - listed as widower, age 67 with daughter Bella (b-Jun 1864), dressmaker. Bella was the daughter of Decourcey Rudd, but some reason made her home with a great-uncle. He seems to have claimed her as a daughter.
