“Thomas was born Dec. 4, 1685; and married first Ruth Bradley Nov. 13, 1706. She was born May 1688, the daughter of Daniel J. and Hannah (Dow) Bradley; and was killed by Indians together with her grandfather and grandmother-in-law Aug. 29, 1708. Thomas married second Rachel Ordway before 1710. She was born Jan. 14, 1688 in Newbury, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Wood) Ordway; and died Dec. 31, 1764. He died July 22, 1754. He settled on the northwest side of Lake Kenoza on land given him by his grandfather. He and his wife disposed of their properties by will.”8
