BARRETT - Darlene Darcy (nee Hopkins) passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the age of 52 years. She was predeceased by her grandparents, George and Pearl Carlson and Lily and John Hopkins; uncle Leslie Carlson; and sister-in-law Carol Barrett. Darcy is survived by her husband Darrell; children Erin and Marshall; parents Jack Hopkins of Calgary, AB and Ethel Hopkins of Calgary, AB; brother Brent (Karen) Hopkins of Calgary, AB; father-in-law and mother-in-law Floyd and Athalie Barrett; brothers and sisters-in-law Lynden Barrett, Shannon (Sid) Davis of Spruce Grove, AB, Monte Barrett, Shelley (Dale) Loney, Marlys Upton, and Kerry (Clint) Armbruster-Barrett; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A VISITATION will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Thursday, June 29, 2006 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Pilot Butte Cemetery, Pilot Butte, SK. BENNETT - William Kenneth 'Ken'. After a short battle with pneumonia, Ken Bennett died peacefully on February 19th, 2010, with his family by his side. Too stormy to go to the hospital, Ken was born at home near Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan (22-18-18-2) on February 9th, 1933 to Harry and Ruth (Suggitt) Bennett. The family moved to the farm at Richardson in 1943, where Ken developed a strong love for farming. From the early days of the dairy farm, to raising pure-bred polled Herefords (better than Angus!), to producing crops, Ken was a proud, Saskatchewan farmer. He attended university in Saskatoon, and graduated with a diploma in Vocational Agriculture in 1953. He returned to the farm and soon found a second love a few miles down the road at Lajord, where Lorna Campbell lived on their family farm. This love affair lasted nearly 53 years. Lorna and Ken celebrated their 50th anniversary on Oct. 19, 2007, surrounded by family and friends. Ken was a devoted husband, father, friend and farmer who leaves a legacy of family, good friends and community support. He is survived by the love of his life, Lorna, and his sons Murray (Laura), Kelly (Marilyn), Dean (Laura Lea) and Trevor (Maureen), his sisters Beryl Lewis (Ray) and Joy Sauter (Don) and grandchildren James, Andrew, Jayson, Kaitlyn, Brenden, Logan, Kelsey, Wilson and Kaelen. Ken was pre-deceased by his parents Harry and Ruth Bennett and Lorna's parents Allan and Phyllis Campbell. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the caring and compassionate staff in the Medical ICU (2E) at the Regina General Hospital, especially Dr. Keyes and the nurses who supported Ken during his illness. Memorial service will be held at Broadway United Church on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM. BETTERIDGE - Mavor (nee Scott) passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2006 with her family by her side at the age of 82 years. Left to cherish many fond memories are her children Gordon (Janet) of Grosse Isle, Manitoba, Colleen (Dennis) Jeworski of Regina, SK; her grandchildren Michelle (Tyler), Robert, Leslie (Sheldon), Brendan, Samantha, Quinn and Kathryn; great grandchildren Aurora, Brandon; sister Marguerite Oldham; sister-in-law Dorothy (Milton) Betteridge and numerous nieces and nephews. Very special friends Keith and Alma Deeks, Bernadette Heck, Edith Peterson, Betty Baker, Hillard and Dawn Radford, Myrna and Tom Jenkins and Joan Kruger. Mavor was predeceased by her husband Harvey; father Russell Scott; mother Electa Scott; Sister Verna Francouer; brothers Gordon Scott and Calvin Scott and a brother and sister in infancy. On June 30, 1924 Mavor was born and was raised on the Scott family farm at Pilot Butte. She resided there until 1942 when she joined the Armed Forces. She achieved the rank of Corporal. After the war ended Mavor returned to Pilot Butte to work on the Betteridge farm. It was where she met Harvey. They married in 1956 and moved to Regina. Mavor then went to work at the 5 and dime Woolworths Store on 11th Avenue. At the age of 40 with the surprise impending birth of daughter Colleen, Mavor became a stay at home mom. It was during this time that she perfected her baking skills and for years to come she became known as the TART LADY. Famous for butter and lemon tarts and chocolate covered cherries. Her treats were sought after and enjoyed by all who were lucky enough to receive them. Casino trips, family and friends and baking filled her life until her passing. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Parkside Nursing Home for their loving and tender care. Monica, Darla, Lance, Lorraine, Ken, Lila, Rosita, Diane, Beryl, Connie Jeworski and the paratransit drivers. Their caring and compassion is appreciated more than words can say. As per Mavor's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified of the date and time. CAMPBELL - Donna Rae passed away on January 1, 2008 in Regina at the age of 51 years. She was raised in Pilot Butte and then lived in Regina. She was predeceased by her father Roy; brother Ron; maternal grandparent Alma Wilson; paternal grandparents Elsie and Andrew Campbell. Donna leaves to cherish her memory her mother Norma; sister Melanie (Lester) Turcotte; nephews Nolan and Nathan Turcotte; aunt Margaret Baxter; as well as other relatives. CROSSMAN - David Kenneth passed away suddenly at his home in Pilot Butte, Saturday, Feb 2. David was born March 1, 1964. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, George and Mary Crossman and his maternal grandparents, Ken and Doreen Spurrier. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Jamie Lynne and David James, Pilot Butte, mother Elaine, Regina, father Harry (Marlene), Davidson. His sister Carolyn (Cory) Hillbom, Regina, nieces, Mackenzie and Morgan, nephew and godson, Brandon. Aunts and Uncles: Joan Giles, Stan Spurrier, Lloyd Crossman (Lori), Betty and Alvin Snider, Reta Walkington, Bob Giles. Many cousins, wonderful friends, and his faithful black lab Buddy. David attended school in Davidson. He worked as a surveyor in Alberta and on various construction jobs. David worked as a labourer with the International Laborers' Union and most recently as a pipefitter with the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 179. He was a hard worker, always conscientious, and caring of his fellow workers. David will be remembered for his always there sense of humour, his hearty laugh and his devotion and loyalty to family and friends. DALEY - Barbara (nee Popp) Lentz Daley. On April 28, 2011, Barb Daley (formerly Lentz) of Pilot Butte, SK, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 63 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Frank; son Darren Schmidt; step-daughters Caralee (Dave) Scully and Lisa (Terry) Magel; grandchildren Axl, Cody, McKenzie, Collin and Rory; siblings Brian (Louise) Popp, Paula (Darryl) Orth and Brandt (Joan) Popp; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. DAVIS - Thomas Charles Davis (April 25, 1947 - May 30, 2011). Thomas, late of Pilot Butte, Sask, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 30, 2011 at the age of 64 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Edith and George Davis. No funeral service at the request of the deceased, but a private ceremony will follow at a later date. FOREMAN - Kelly David passed away on November 25, 2003 at the age of 22. He is survived by his parents, David (Christelle) Foreman, Sharon Goodchild; brothers, Bradley (Alescha) Foreman, Donavon (Debbie) Foreman; nephew, Cody; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kelly lived and attended school for many years in Pilot Butte, attending high school in Balgonie. His life was touched by many. His friends were pivotal in his life. Family memories of golf, swimming, snowshoeing, skiing and days at the ranch will always be remembered. FREY - Catherine Rose (nee Ecker) passed away on Monday, December 12, 2005 after a brief illness at the age of 92 years. Catherine was predeceased by her parents Anna and Albert Ecker; six brothers; four sisters; daughter Dolores; grandson Patrick and great grandson Michael. Left to cherish her memory is her sons Irwin, Allan (Liane), Fred (Marlene); eight grandsons: David, Donald, Wayne, Bobby, Don, Danny, Jim, Jerry; eleven granddaughters: Heather, Brenda, Glenda, Wendy, Gwen, Sherry, Debbie, Marie, Susan, Jeannette, Michelle and their significant others. She also leaves to mourn 37 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law Albert Duchesne, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and friends. Catherine was born September 10, 1913 to Albert and Anna Ecker, one of the first homesteading families in Humbold, SK. There she met her husband Oscar, and together they settled in Pilot Butte, SK, where she resided until her passing. Catherine worked at Coop Creamery for many years, but her true passion was found in nature. Until recently, she was often found in her garden, house and greenhouse tending to her vegetables, plants, flowers and special canary Tweety. She also enjoyed baking, sewing, arts and crafts and upon retirement in 1978 her favourite pastimes included bowling, playing cards and spending time out at the Sunset Club which she helped co-found. A short time ago when Catherine was asked, What in your 92 years has amazed you the most? She replied, It is all amazing! Catherine, in your time here with us, you were amazing. We will all miss your uncanny wit, strength, courage and determination; but most of all we will miss your love. FRINDELL - Dorothy Rowsom, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 06, 2001 at the age of 90 years. Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband Herb Rowsom and her second husband Stan Frindell, three brothers Bill, Fred and Jack. She is survived by her four children, daughter Joan (Jim) Vandergrift; three sons, Barrie (Maxine) Rowsom, Gerry (Bev) Rowsom, Grant (Sue) Paul; three very special grandchildren Lance Rowsom, Dawn Dakiniewich, Shawn Rowsom; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law Mable DeBacker and Mary Scott; brother-in-law Leo Frindell and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy grew up in the Pilot Butte Area and farmed most of her life in the Regina Area. Stan and Dorothy spent their retirement years in the city of Regina. On Sunday, January 4, 2009 Louella Gillespie passed away at the age of 53 years. Louella will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Kevin Reynolds of Pilot Butte, SK; three daughters, Jolene (Dwayne) Kohut of Regina and their children, Jorja and Aidan, Brandy Gillespie of Lloydminster and her son, Conner and Michelle (Russell) Spencer of Pilot Butte and their children, Drake and Owen; two sons, Allen (Carrie Anne) Gillespie of Regina and Christopher Reynolds of Pilot Butte; parents, Llewellyn (Bunty) and Audrey Allen of Lyleton, MB; two sisters, Charlotte (Ken) Cameron of Pierson, MB and Christine (Norman) Panchyshyn of Campbell River, B.C.; two brothers, Rick (Carol) Allen of Estevan, SK and Brent (Sandi) Allen of Shoal Lake, MB, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of our dearly beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and friend on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the age of 79. Frieda was a longtime resident of Pilot Butte, Sk. She worked for many years as a Dietary Aide at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, retiring in 1994. Predeceased by her parents John and Pauline Flegel; husband Ralph; two brothers and three sisters; Frieda is survived and will be greatly missed by her children: Jim (Delores) Goldstone, Don (Carol) Goldstone, Cathy Manley (Daryl), Bonnie (John) Templeton, Allan (Deb) Goldstone, Gail (James) Brown; two brothers and two sisters; as well as numerous grand and greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. HALL - Norman Laurence 1947 - 2009. It is with great sadness, the family announces Norman's sudden passing on Saturday, April 11, 2009. He was predeceased by his mother Regina Harty Bolog; father Harry Hall; and infant brother Patrick John. He is survived by his loving spouse Gloria; sister Nora Copeman (Ken); brothers Patrick (Darlene), Fred and Robert (Denise); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. HANSEN - Tony Hansen, our rebellious angel, received his wings on November 15, 2014, just shy of his 80th birthday, to be with his beautiful and precious wife, Anna Lise, grandson Christopher and many other friends and relatives. Our Dad was a crazy trouble maker who didn't like rules. He was an amazing friend to all and would do anything for them. He was very smart and very creative and also could remember things like they were yesterday. He was an awesome welder and blacksmith. I'm sure there are a number of farmers in the Pilot Butte area that can say they have had a weld done by Tony. Dad was a hardworking man all his life and started working at a very young age as a blacksmith in Denmark, then worked as a farm hand and went into construction as an instrument fitter when he moved to Canada. Dad was born in Denmark on December 14, 1934 and moved to Canada in 1957 with his wife, Anna Lise and son Kien. Dad is survived by his son Kien (Gloria), grandchildren Shane (great granddaughter Emma) and Noel; daughter Lolita Vansteelandt (Ed), grandchildren Kirsten, Shae, Levi and daughter Tanja (Kevin). He also has family residing in Denmark. This sums up how dad lived life: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, wine in one hand, beer in the other, body totally worn out and screaming "WHOO HOO what a ride!" There will be a Graveside Service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Pilot Butte Cemetery. HARRIS - Wilfred Frederick "Curly". It is with sadness that the family of Curly Harris announces his sudden passing on November 29, 2000. He was born in Dubuc, SK, on October 22, 1916 to John and Mary Harris. He resided in Pilot Butte, SK, for most of his life. He started work for the CPR in 1936, but left to join the Canadian Army in 1943. He saw action in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. After the war Curly worked at various jobs until he rejoined the CPR in 1947. He retired from the CPR in 1978. After retirement he farmed for many years and enjoyed visiting with old friends in the Creelmen/Weyburn area. He also derived a great deal of pleasure from his involvement with the Pilot Butte Senior Club. Curly was predeceased by his beloved wife Marion Rose in 1960. After her death he worked hard and overcame many obstacles to keep his young family together. He is survived by his daughters: Mary Ella (Jon) Gillies and Karen Lynn Harris; sons: Gerald Wilfred, Kenneth Allen, John Leslie (Janice) and George Frederick. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Jane Winget; grandchildren Leanne, Rhonda, Jon, Kimberley, Sean, Amy and Jennifer; great-grandchildren Tinetia and Zaquary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. HOPKINS - Ethel Bernice (nee Carlson) September 22, 1936 - May 30, 2015. Ethel Hopkins passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2015. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Brent (Karen) Hopkins of Calgary; son-in-law Darrell Barrett of Pilot Butte, SK; granddaughter Erin Barrett; grandson Marshall Barrett and great- grandson Jensen Nadeau all of Pilot Butte, SK. Ethel will also be missed by her sisters: Grace (Willie) Topinka, Kathy Ward and Marjorie (Steve) Izsak. She was predeceased by her daughter Darlene Barrett; her brother Les Carlson and her sister Florence Foster. Blanche passed away peacefully at the Regina General Hospital on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Gladys Slater; her husband Arnold Johnston of Kisbey; brother Roland Slater; and sisters, Mary Slater, Audrey Whitfield and Gladys Slater. Blanche is survived by her brother Donald (Jacque) Slater of Calgary, AB; son Stuart Armstrong of Pemberton, BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, and was lovingly referred to by all as "Auntie Blanche". JUKES - Violet Gladys (nee Schneikart), late of Pilot Butte, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the age of 85 years. She met her husband Bill when she was teaching at Curry School. Violet and Bill were married in Moose Jaw in 1948 and lived and farmed in the Ormiston district until 1961 when they moved to the farm at Grand Coulee and later to Pilot Butte in 1984 when Bill retired. Violet enjoyed sports, farming, gardening, baking, and most of all spending time with her family and her Church family. In her later years, she quietly enjoyed being with family at the lake, camping, soaking up the sun, or most especially, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their many sporting events. Violet was predeceased by her husband, John William "Bill"; her parents Adam and Carolina Schneikart; her brothers George (toddler), Adam, Reinhold and George; her sisters Sophie, Betty, Eva, Helen and Violet (infant). KLEMENZ - Alice (nee Kreklewich). On Wednesday, May 14, 2003 Alice Klemenz, late of Pilot Butte, Sask., passed away at the age of 69 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ed; daughter Donna; grandson James and brother Lawrence. Alice is survived by her children Leonard (Judy), Gerald (Karen), June (Phil), Joan (Dave) and Anita (Larry); grandchildren Janet (Andre), Calvin, Sheila, Corey, Ryan, Joel, Chris, Chad, Zack, Sara, Hanna, Keith and Kyle; great-grandchildren Shaylynn, Brenda and Alyssa; sister Alvina and brothers Bert, Tom and Stan. Alice was born February 12, 1934 to Ida and Stan Kreklewich at Bankend, SK. She was raised on the family farm and later moved to Melville and then to Regina where she met her husband Ed. They were married November 26, 1954 and lived in Pilot Butte for 42 years. Alice enjoyed gardening, Bingo and VLT's. KLEMENZ - Edward Klemenz, late of Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, August 26, 2002 at the age of 74 years. Edward was born November 14, 1927 in Pangman to Henry and Katherine Klemenz. He was raised on a farm near Horizon, Saskatchewan. Edward and his wife Alice and their family have lived in the town of Pilot Butte for the last 42 years. During his life he worked on construction, had a small stucco business, worked at Intercontinental Packers and lastly worked at the Pasqua Hospital. Edward was predeceased by his daughter Donna, grandson James, three brothers Joe, Lawrence and Mike and two nephews Steven and Chris. He is survived by his wife Alice; son Leonard (Judy), grandchildren Janet (Andre), Sheila, Calvin, and great grandchildren Shaylynn, Alyssa and Brenda; son Gerald (Karen), grandchildren Corey, Ryan and Joel; daughter June (Philip), grandchildren Chris and Chad; daughter Joan (David), grandchildren Zachary, Sara and Hanna; daughter Anita (Larry), grandchildren Keith and Kyle; sisters: Elizabeth, Kaye, Ann, Rose, Helen and Mary Ann. KONIBY - Lillian Norleen (nee Butz) of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 24, 2000. Lil was born November 4, 1937 at Edenwold, Sask. to Carrie and Chris Butz. She grew up in Pilot Butte and later moved to Regina, then Watson. Her caring nature was evident back then where she worked as a doctor's receptionist. It was in the early eighties that she moved to Calgary where she continued working in the medical profession. Over the last several years Lil's lively personality led to her enjoyment of hostessing bus tours. She is survived by her son, Wayne and his wife, Debra Grund and grandchildren, Nathan, Jackie and Sheena of Saskatoon. During his retirement years, he spent winters in Arizona. MACHIN - Ruth (nee Evans) passed away September 1, 2004, to be reunited with her beloved husband, Howard. In 1971 Ruth and Howard moved to Regina where they continued to play bridge with close friends and square dance. They expanded their circle of friends on winter trips to Mesa. Ruth was active in the Anglican Church in Pilot Butte and Regina and served with many groups in Pilot Butte, including the school board. She was a dedicated volunteer with the Red Cross for many years. Ruth's family appreciates the loving care she received from Joan, David, Troy and Bert Dodds at University Park Care Home/Hillsdale Personal Care Home and from all the staff at Sunset Extendicare. Both were truly homes for Ruth, as she was surrounded by wonderful people. The care and friendship that they extended to Ruth and her family is greatly valued. He was also well-known for his other passions; being Santa Claus for all of Pilot Butte plus family and friends, and making his Hallowe'en candy apples. On Monday, January 15, 2007 J. Harold McFarland passed away at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Amy and an infant brother William Alan. He leaves to mourn his wife, Marie and their four children: Kathie (Scott Bury) and Ken (Claudette Claereboudt) of Regina; Janet (David Parkinson) and James of Toronto; also three grandchildren: James (Naomi) and Nicole Pendrigh; and Eric Parkinson; and sister Helen Bailey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was born in Regina and grew up on the family farm near Pilot Butte. He moved into Regina in 1947 where he worked as a salesman until retirement in 1984. MEIER - Eric H. passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Thursday, October 20, 2005 with his loving family by his side. SARTISON - Kenneth Vernon Sartison, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and son passed away on July 26, 2008 at his home in Pilot Butte, SK after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Ken was the eldest son of George and Leontina Sartison born on December 15, 1937 in Scottsburgh, SK. Ken was schooled at Luxor School and at Swift Current Collegiate where he graduated in 1956. Ken continued his education at the University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus where he earned a Certificate of Administration in 1973. Ken began his long and successful "first career" at SaskTel in 1956 as an apprentice switchman in Swift Current and retired in 1991 as Director of Operations Support in Regina. Ken was a very active member of Telephone Pioneers serving as the Saskatchewan President in 1985/86. Ken's "second career" as a consultant and professional career transition counselor began soon after his retirement from SaskTel and ended on his most recent retirement in the fall of 2007 shortly before his 70th birthday. Ken was the proud father (with his former wife Anne) of Kim, Delayne and Troy, whom he supported in a host of activities and educational endeavors in their youth. Ken also became proud stepfather (with his wife from 1993, Fran Cope) of daughters Jeanette and Colleen. Ken was also the much beloved "Grandpa" and "Papa" to nine grandchildren who will miss his love and support very much. Ken's true passion in life was his family, but he also found time to enjoy community service, travel, his puppies, his beautiful garden and his team, the Riders. SEIBEL - Cornelia Hilda (nee Leibel) passed away peacefully December 17 in Vancouver B.C. at home with her devoted daughter and caregiver Sharon. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jacob in 1974, grandson Geoffrey, her parents and her ten sisters and brothers. Cornelia moved to Vancouver in 2001 to make her home with Sharon and her family, who with loving kindness and good humour cared for her until her passing. SHOULAK - Francis. It is with great sadness that the family of Francis Shoulak announces his sudden passing on Sunday, December 24, 2000, at the age of 75. Predeceased by his son Charles and a grandson. Dad could be found fishing, woodworking, gardening, camping, helping a neighbour and spending lots of time with his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years Linda; sons John (Gail), Wayne (Glenda) and Terry (Julie); grandchildren Sasha, Kayden, Kieren, Daniel, Joshua, Andrew, Michael, Erica and Avery; brother Ernie (Remi); in-laws Judy (Harold) Walbaum, Ellen (George) Deneve, Chuck (Irene) Carroll and Annette Lacharite; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Gladys Yurko; grandparents Mary and Ernie Winter; aunt Eva Winter; uncle Joe Spytko, parents-in-law Elsie and John Carroll; and niece Collette Walbaum. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Crishlow, Dr. Duffy and Dr. Richardson, as well as the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital for the compassionate care given to Wayne. On Thursday, February 10th at the age of 62 James Yanoshewski (Pops) lost his fight to Cancer. Jim is survived by his sons Rick, Randy and their families; as well as brothers, sisters and many nieces, nephews, and friends. On Friday, November 24th, 2006 Alfred John Davey Yeo passed away peacefully in his 86th year after battling Parkinsons disease for many years. Born in Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan, Alfred served overseas and in the Dieppe campaign with the South Regina Regiment during World War II. With life as both a farmer and with the Canadian Armed Forces, Alfred retired in Victoria BC and eventually returned to Saskatchewan. He is survived by his wife, Kay Humphries, three children: Sandra (Penticton BC), Alfred (Mackenzie BC) and Candi (Penticton BC), four step-sons: Rob (Judy) Humphries, Mervin (Billie) Humphries, Brian (Liz) Humphries and Rick Humphries. Twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren living throughout Canada and the USA also survive Alfred. He will be sadly missed by his family, and his friends with whom he enjoyed leisure time. ZINKHAN - Grace (nee Albus) 1933 - 2011. Grace passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, William Zinkhan; parents Josef and Paulina Albus and her brother Herman. Grace is survived by her children, Dolores (Alan) Schafer, Lyle (Judy) Zinkhan, Donna (William) Mitchell, Larry (Sherry) Zinkhan, Wanda (Steve) Landry and Lorne (Phyllis) Ens recently re-united; sisters Hilda, Adeline, Alma and brother Emil; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Grace and Bill were long time residents of Pilot Butte where they raised their family and were very involved with numerous community activities. After Grace retired from the Leader Post, where she worked for many years and made great long-time friends, she and Bill moved to Pasqua Lake. Here they enjoyed many good times with friends, family and neighbors the whole year round. After Bill's passing in 1993, she moved to Regina where she enjoyed traveling, bowling and spending time with many friends and family.
