EYNON, John Hicks was born in 1801 in Gloucester, England and died in 1888, and was converted by the early female itinerant Elizabeth Dart, whom he later married. She came to Canada in 1869 and died on Feb 25 1924 at her home in Lacolle PQ. He was survived by his widow, two sons: Dr J.T. Fowkes at Lafargeville NY and Alexander Fowkes at Buffalo NY, and two daughters: Mrs Dr. J. Loveland of Middletown CT and Mrs J. Laurence VanVliet of Lacolle PQ, and a number of grandchildren.
