Mr. Stanley Tupper’s water mill is near completion and will be ready to saw about October 15th.
Mr. William Rogers of Hantsport, is spending a few days with his brother James, of this place.
Misses Edith Thorpe and Edith Tupper left for Boston last week. Miss Mabel Sanford and Miss Nellie Davison expect to start on Saturday next.
Mrs. Lavinia Steele is visiting her son, Capt. H. H. Steele, of Hantsport.
Mr. Augustus Sanford is recovering from a serious illness.
The owners of South Marsh have decided to dyke and will commence work at once.
