The District Lodge will meet with White Rose Lodge on June 20th. We hope there will be a large attendance. A public meeting will be held in the evening.

Miss Euna Legge, music teacher, leaves to-day for Halifax and St. John, N. B. She expects to be away two months.

Mr. Fred McLennan is very low with consumption.

A little daughter of Mr. John Munro met with a painful accident on Saturday last, having her leg broken by being run over by a cart.

Elder H. Carney, of Maine, spent last week with friends at this place.

Miss Nellie Davison expects to leave for Providence, R. I., on Saturday, the 17th, to spend the summer with her sister, Mrs. Gates.

Miss Minnie Marshall, of Port Lorne, is the guest of Miss Nellie Davidson.

A monster lobster was recently taken here. It measured thirty-two inches across the claws.

Mr. J. E. Stele, who has been in poor health for the past weeks, has gone to Halifax for treatment.
