Death of F. M. Shaw.

We deeply regret to have to announce the death of MR. Frederic M. Shaw, son of the late Isaac Shaw, Esq., of Weston, who passed away at his home in Denver, Colorado, on Saturday, March 17th, at the age of 32 years.

Fred Shaw was well known to many of our readers. His early school days were spent in Berwick, where he made his mark as one of the most talented and brilliant of the many talented young men who have gone out from our school. He attended Acadia College, where he took his degree of B. A.. For two years he taught in Wolfville Academy. Later he graduated from the State Normal School at Bridgewater, Mass. He was, for a time, principal of a school in Paterson, New Jersey. Some three years ago, he was advised to go west on account of his health and secured a position in a school at Denver. He continued his school duties until March 3rd, just two weeks before his death.

Two years ago Mr. Shaw was married to Miss Edna Lincoln, of Dorchester, Mass. She survives him, as does an infant son, born two weeks before the death of his father. Deepest sorrow for the bereaved widow and child, and for the doubly bereaved mother, brothers and sisters will be felt by all who had the privilege of an acquaintance with the genial and noble young man who has been called away.
