Veteran Indian Passes At Cambridge Reserve

Charles Frances, the oldest Indian on the Cambridge Reserve, passed away at W.K.M. Hospital, March 8th, at the age of 91 years. He had been active and able to walk several miles until about a week before his death, following influenza. His father, Chief Joseph Frances, of the Micmac tribe, lived to be 102. Charles Fraser was a great trapper and guide in his younger days, also a long distance runner. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Frank Paul (Agnes) and three grandchildren.
