A very enjoyable evening was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Spicer on Thursday, Feb. 20th, when about twenty-five of the young folks made them a surprise party. Mr. and Mrs. Spicer welcomed and entertained them in an up-to-date fashion by dancing and refreshments until the evening was well spent.

Our teacher, Miss F. Mapleback, visited her parents at Victoria recently.

Mr. Regan, a New Brunswick lawyer, was here on Wednesday of last week.

Mr. Roy Meister, of Auburn, made a business visit to Mr. W. W. Ogilvie one day last week.

The Pie Social at the home of Capt. McBride proved successful, although quite a number of young folk were prevented from attending, making the proceeds smaller than on previous occasions.

Ca. A. Burns made a business trip to Canady Creek on Tuesday, Feb. 25th.

Capt. C. I. and Mrs. McBride, of Waterville, attended the pie social here last week.

Miss Mary A. Hussey, of Morden, spent a few days in this place with her friend, Miss M. A. Burns.

Mr. John Spicer returned home on Saturday after a two weeks visits with his sister, Mrs. Lewis Morris, of Hantsport.

Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Hall, of Burlington visited friends here on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Margeson of Berwick spent a couple of days with friends in this place last week.

Mr. and Mrs. James M. Cahill visited friends in Berwick on Wednesday of last week.

Mr. and Mrs. William Patterson, of Victoria Harbor, were the guests of friends in this place on Saturday last.

Mr. Charles L. Best, of Victoria, is spending a few days in this place.

The contract for the supply of ice at Sea Side Park, referred to in Harborville items of February 20th, was not, we are informed made with the Harborville Realty Company but with Mr. E. W. Kappele.
