The funeral of the late N.P. Shaw took place from the family residence, Gorge road, yesterday afternoon. Religious services were held at the house by the Rev. J.H. Sweet and Rev. Dr. Rowe, and also at St. James' church in the presence of a large number of sympathizing friends. The following gentlemen officiated as pallbearers Capt. Buckholtz, Mr. E.E. Leason, Mr. G.A. Taylor, Mr. H.E.A. Courtney, Mr. E.E. Welsh and Mr. A.L. Belyea. |
