Yesterday morning at 11 o'clock the funeral of the wife and daughter of Mr. A.J.C. Galletly, local manager of the Bank of Montreal, took place. The service was held in Christ church cathedral where the bodies had lain since recovery. The cathedral was filled with sympathizing friends of the deceased. The services were conducted by Bishop Perrin assisted by Ven. Archdeacon Scriven and Rev. E.G. Miller, rector of St. Barnabas. The service at the cathedral was choral and all the clergymen attended to the last resting place in the cemetery.
The mourners were: Hon. Edgar Dewdney, H.V. Cronyen, Mr. Sweeney, Col. Holmes. The pallbearers were as follows: For Mrs. Galletly - George Gillespie, E. Crow Baker, S.A. Roberts, E.H. Fletcher, Col. A.W. Jones and D.H. MacDowell. For Miss Galletly - Lindley Crease, H.R. Beaven, Lieut. Knight, R.N.A. Gillespie, F. Pinder and T. Garnet.
