STAN COOK ARTIST Stan Cook began painting after retiring from Cal Poly Pomona where he was a Professor of Linguistics for 30 years. He has been painting and studying art technique and art history ever since. His primary inspiration is his admiration of impressionist and postimpressionist painters. Over the years, he has developed his own style and subject matter. His work has been exhibited in Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Claremont, and at the Ontario Museum of History and Art. Stan is of Norwegian descent and a member of Baltic Lodge. Stan now has an online gallery where you can enjoy more of his paintings. |
