  • A descendant of William Brower has participated in the Brewer DNA Project (kit #122861). The results demonstrate that the participants direct male ancestry does not genetically descend form either Adam Brouwer or Jan Brouwer, and thus far, does not match with any other known Brower or Brewer participant. Somewhere in the direct Brower ancestry of William Brower, is either an adoption event or a birth to a single woman named Brower. This event has not been determined.11
