In the name of God, Amen, I JOHN TUCKER Sen'r of Sandy's Tribe in the islands aforesaid, being of sound mind & memory, do make this my last will & testament in manner and form following.

Imprimis: It is my last will & I do order & direct that my funeral charges & just debts be paid in two years after my death.

Item: I give & bequeath unto my well beloved wife MARY TUCKER after my estate is settled, the one half of the whole of all my estate which shall remain- the remaining and other half to be divided equally among all my children, HENRY TUCKER, JOHN TUCKER, THOMAS TUCKER, JAMES TUCKER, DANIEL TUCKER, ROBERT TUCKER, MARY TUCKER, ELIZABETH TUCKER, and CATHARINE TUCKER.

Item: I give & bequeath unto my well beloved sister REBECCA JENOUR the use of the chamber of my dwelling house she now lives in for and during her life.

Item: I do appoint my six sons, HENRY TUCKER, JOHN TUCKER, JAMES TUCKER, DANIEL TUCKER, ROBERT TUCKER, (and THOMAS TUCKER) to be and act as my executors, in writing whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal, revoking & making null & void all former wills by me made this seventh day of December 1770

I do hereby certify that this tenth day of July 1771 before me personally appeared RICHARD FOWLE Esq'r and Mr RICHARD FOWLE Jun'r who solemnly made oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God, that they saw JOHN TUCKER the testator sign, seal, and deliver this instrument of writing on the other side to be his last will and testament and that he the testator at the time of the execution thereof was of sound mind and memory to the best of their judgement, and that they also saw Mrs. TAFFENAS RIGHTON subscribe her name as witness to the same. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at arms the day and year above written.
