The deposition of Richard Pitt aged 40 years or thereabouts ye depont declareth yt he hath paid divers times to ye Honble Richard Cony GoverE of these Islands five shillings for sea-briefs, one shilling for a saylors tickett & one shilling for a passemgers tickett, as ye GoverE was pleased to call it, six shillings, and eight pence & foure shillings & eight penc I have paid divers times for powder mony ye above sd money I paid according to ye GoverE requirements and further saith not.
