In the name of God Amen. I Margery Potter of the Town of St. Georges being very sick and weak in body and of sound mind and memory lying in a languishing condition through age and other infirmities waiting for that blessed hour that I daily hope for when this my mortal body shall put on immortality and my soul through the death M***** and ******** of my beloved savour and only redeemer Jesus Christ shall joy and unspeakable under life everlasting. My body ******* *** *** be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter nominated and appointed and all that real and personal estate which the lord in Mercy hath blessed me with I do give and bequeath the same in manner and form following.

FIRST my mind and will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be first paid and satisfied

SECONDLY I do hereby give and bequeath unto my son William Pearman my great cedar chest standing under the hall window at the foot of the bed. All the rest of my real and personal estate be the same lands tenements goods or chattels or of whatever nature kind or quality soever I do hereby give ****** bequeath hthe same unto my W##### and only daughter Honour Harding her heirs and assigns forever without any ##### reversion remainder or other reservation whatsoever.

LASTLY I do hereby nominate and appoint her my said daughter Honour Harding to be my sole executrix of this my last will and revoking all other wills both verbal and instrumental at any time heretofore made do make publish and declare this to be my only last will and testament.

In testimony whereof I the said Margery Potter have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighth day of October, 1711.

These are to certify that this tenth day of April in the year 1712 personally appeared before me the Governor & Ordinary aforesaid Samuel Sherlock, Mr. Charles Minors and Mr. John Woodward who have subscribed their names as witnesses to the Will and Testament within written and solemnly made Oath on the Evangelists that **** saw the within named Margery Potter the testatrix sign or make her mark & also execute the within written testament as her last will and and at the time of *** thereof she the said testatrix was of sound and disposing mind and memory IN TESTIMONY whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year first above written.
