In the Name of God Almighty Amen I Elizabeth Pitt [several indecipherable
words] of the Island of Bermuda in the Parish of Pembroke Widow being weak
in Body but of sound and … Mind and Memory Blessed be to God Do this
thirteenth Day of October in the year of our Lord Seventeen Hundred and
Ninety two make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in Manner
Following Viz:

Impremis My Will is that all my just Debts with my Funeral Charges be payed
before any Division be made in my Estate after my decease.

Secondly I give and bequeath unto my beloved Daughters Elizabeth Watkins &
Hannah Eve and to their Disposall My House where Mrs Susanna Tynes now
lives with the pond or Swamp and all the land there unto belonging Except
one Acre to be measured from the South East part Next the South land to be
Equal Divided between them.

Thirdly My Will is that My House on the South Side where Rich’d George now
lives with all the land There unto belonging and the one Acre of land on
the South End of my other land where Mrs Tynes now lives I give to my Grand
Son Rich’d George and my Grand Daughter Susanna George and to their
Disposall in Maner following –My will is that my Grand Daughter Susanna
George Have her Life in the said House with Her Brother and the one Acre of
land above mentioned and the other part of House with all the land there
unto belonging I give as above to my Grand Son Rich’d George as above
mentioned.

Fourthly I give to my Three Grand Daughters Elizabeth and Martha and Polly
Pitt is a young Cow.

Fifthly I give to my son William Pitt the House wherein I now live with my
Sedar Settle bench in the Hall of the said House.

Sixthly I give the Remainder of my Personal Estate after my just Debts and
Funeral Charges are payed the one third part to my Daughter Elizabeth
Watkins and one third part to my Daughter Hannah Eve with the other one
third part to be Equally Divided between my Grand Son John Pitt and my
Grand Daughter Esther Pitt.

Seventhly I give to my Grand Son William George’s Children the Debt that is
Owing me for the House Rent from their father’s Estate.

Lastly I order and ordain my Grand Son Rich’d George and my Grand Son John
Pitt Executors and my Daughters Elizabeth Watkins and Hannah Eve for
Executrixes of this my Last Will and Testament desiring them to Take Care
and see the same performed A Cording to my True intent and Meaning. –– In
Witness thereof I Elizabeth Pitt have to this my Last will and Testament
set my Hand and Seal the Day & year afore written.

in the presence of us who where present at the Signing and Sealing thereof
