Be it known by all that by these presents that I John Briggs of St. Georges Parish, Carpenter, for and in consideration of the **** of fifteen shillings current money to **** hand paid by William Pearman of the same Parish, Carpenter, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part and parcel thereof do hereby assign *** *** *** him the said William Pearman his executors and administrators and for and in consideration of the sum of fifteen shilling money current to be paid unto me the said John Briggs by him the said William Pearman so bargained and sold and by these presents ****** ***** unto him the said William Pearman all that my house and cottage with the ________ ______ _______ and being in St. Georges Parish aforesaid by and between the houses of John Charvill, the Widow Powell and Lawrence Pitcher to have and to hold the said house to him the said William Pearman and his [heirs?] for ever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of February in the year of our Lord 1676
