In the name of God amen.  I Samuel Lightbourne being of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this as my last will and testament.  After all my just debt is discharged, I give and bequeath as follows.

 

Item.  I give and bequeath unto my son John Lightbourne a sealed gold ring.

 

Item.  I give and bequeath unto my son Samuel Lightbourne a silver tankard he(?) my said son Saml paying to each of his sisters 20 shillings.

 

Item.  I give and bequeath unto my son William my silver shoe buckles.

 

Item.  I give and bequeath unto my daughter Martha my gold buttons.

My will is that my loving wife Jane Lightbourne <word illegible> my whole estate both real and personal during her natural life, or as long as she continues a widow, and at her decease or day of marriage I desire my whole estate be equally divided amongst my children, the house only excepted which give and devise unto my son Samuel.

My will is that the land be given to my daughters it(?) to them and their heirs.

Lastly, I appoint and constitute my son Samuel and my trusty friends John Darrell and Joseph Hinson, executors to this my last will and testament.  Dated this third day of March 1760.
