Know all men whom it may concern that I John Knapton of the Somer Islands als Bermudas plant'r being in good health and perfect memorie ____ therefore ___ ___ and ___________, give and bequeath my welbeloved wife Elizabeth Knapton my two shares of land lying and being in Smith's Tribe ___ my sonn Moses Knapton to me and one and twenty yeares of age, then shall my sonn Moses Knapton be presently possessed with one share of land without molestation. Further I doe give unto my well beloved wife all my estate within ___ and without onelie forty pounds first to be payed Marie Knapton at the time of her marriage, or at the time shee shall be six and twentie yeares of age. Further I order it soe that in case my said wife shall decease, that both the sahres of land shall be my sonns, But if in case my sonn shall die without issue, then the land shall fall to my daughter and her issue. This with a free consent and willingness __________confirms it with my hand and seale this present twentie fourth May 1662.

The daie and yeare aforesaid MrChanncy Sandys, William Gibbons Sen:r, George Ball and Thomas Griffin Jun'r of Smith's Tribe have made oath before Capt Samuel Whalley ___ that the above written will was signed and sealed in their presence by John Knapton the day and yeare aforesaid: Elizabeth the wife of the aforesaid John Knapton being there ____ present, and freelie consenting unto the oath of her ___ hand as aforesaid.
