DUNSCOMB, Phillip

This thirtieth daie of December 1679 I Phillip Dunscomb of Bermuda als Sumer Islands being (thoroughly?) of God (but of?) sound and disposing memory do make this my last will and testament in manner following.

Ffirst I do give and bequeath unto my dear and beloved wife Joanna Dunscomb ffor and during  the tearme of her naturall life the (?) and (?) sahre of land in Pembroke Tribe at Spanish Point in Bermuda als Sumer Islands which my ffather (devised? gave? and?) bequeathed by his last will and testament to me after his owne and my mothers death for the comfortable (sustenance?) of my saide wife and for the good education and maintenance of my children during their minority.

Item. I devise give and bequeath unto my two sonns Thomas and Phillip the aforementioned house and share of land to be divided equally between each? son, and? if my sonn Thomas desires the house, my will is that he shall give 10 pounds unto my sonn Phillip in compensation for it. I make my aforesaide wife Joanna Dunscomb and appoint and ordaine her as sole and only executrix willing and devising? only? her? she should? duly paie all just debts owing by me to any person whosoever to whom also I refer? the eternment of my owne? bodie the? discharge? about? the same being which left unto her discretion.
