In the name of God, Amen, I Samuel Dickinson of Southampton Parish in the Islands of Bermuda,
shipwright, do make this my last and testament in manner and form following.
My just debts and funeral charges be first paid according to the discretion of my executors hereafter named,
I give and bequeath unto my dear and loving wife Parnel Dickinson my now dwelling house and one acre
of land belonging to it during her widowhood after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my son Francis, Benjamin, John, William, Edward, Richard, Martha and
Mary Dickinson the just sum of four hundred pounds to be equally divided between them out of my
personal estate as they will come of age or the day of marriage after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath all the rest of my personal estate remaining unto my loving wife Parnel Dickinson
for her widowhood and for the bringing up of all my children to age after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my son Samuel Dickinson and his heirs my now dwelling house and one
acre of land now belonging to it, after my decease and my wife Parnel Dickinson widowhood.
Item. My will is that if after my decease Samuel Dickinson should dye and leaves no heir male then
my will is that my said land shall returne unto my son Edward Dickinson and to his heirs male.
And in case my son Edward Dickinson should dye and leave no heir male, my will is that my house and
said land shall returne unto my son Richard Dickinson and to his heirs male for ever. My will is
that all my timber that is now fit for building a vesel shall be cut if is now upon my acer of land and my will
is that at my decease my loving wife Parnel Dickinson shall goe forward in building a vessel in
the direction of my executors and overseers and sell as they see fitt. It is my will that my sons
Francis, Benjamin, John and William Dickinson shall be the executors of this my last
will and testament and also my loving brother James Dickinson and my loving brother in law Capt William
Richardson and my loving cosin John Dickinson shipwright as overseers to aid and assist them what lyes in
their power.
In witness whereof I have set my hand and seale this seventeenth day of March one thousand seven hundred and thirty and one/two.

These are to certifye that this 15th day of March 1732/3 personally appeared before me the Governor aforesaid Robert
Dickinson of Southampton Tribe, Esq'r and solemnly made oath on the Holy Evangelists that he saw the within
named Samuel Dickinson sign, seal, publish and declare the within written instrument to be his last will and testament
and that he the said testator was at the same time of sound and perfect mind and memory.
