In the name of God, Amen, the thirteenth day of January in the year of our Loed 1721/2, I Edward Dickinson
of Southampton in Bermuda, mariner, being sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory thanks
be given unto God, therefore calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it's appointed for all
men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament, that is to say principally and first of all
I give and recommend my soul unto the hands of Almighty God that gave it and for my body, I recommend it to the
earth to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my executors, nothing doubting but
at the general resurrection, I shall receive the same again by the mercy power of God and as touching such worldly
estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life, I give, devise, and dispose of the same in the
following manner and form.
Item. I give and bequeath to Frances my well beloved wife all my real and personal estate together with
my part and portion of the personal estate of my father John Dickinson deceased, during her natural life
and at her decease to be divided amongst my children as followeth.
Item> I give and bequeath to my well beloved son Robert Dickinson at my said wife's decease my now dwelling
house and one acre of land adjoyning thereunto to him and his heirs lawfully begotten of his body for ever.
but if please God to take him out of this world without issue to return equally amongst his surviving sisters as
my said wife Frances shall think fitt.
Item. All the residue and remainder of my real and personal estate above mentioned I give equally to be divided
amongst my children at the discretion of my said wife but if please God any of my children should die before their
portion be paid to return equally amongst the surviving sisters.
Item. I do hereby nominate and appoint my loving and trusty friend Mr Richard Hunt and my loving brother
Samuel Dickinson my executors to this my last will and testament and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke
and disannul all and every other former testaments, wills, legacies, and executions by me in any way before this
time named, willed, and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament
. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written>

These are to certify that this 15th day of Nov'r 1727 personally appeared before me the President aforesaid Mr
John Beak and solemnly made oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that he saw the within named
Edward Dickinson sign, seal, and execute the within written instrument as his last and testament and that
at the same time he the testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory and that he also saw at the same
time the within named Samuel Newbold and John Gilcrist subscribe their names as witnesses to the
said will. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year above.
