Bermuda or Sommer Islands

In the name of God, Amen, I, Edward Archer of Pembroke Tribe in these Islands gent: being sick and weak in body but of perfect and sound disposeing mind and memory praised be to God for the same... and for what worldly estate it has pleased God to bless me with I bestow it in the manner and form following.

Impris. I give unto my loving Brother John Archer living in Bristoll near Rhode Island in New England fourty pounds of Current money of these Islands.

Item. I Give unto my sister Hannah Manchester living near Rhode Island Tenn pounds of like money.

Item. I give unto my Sister Mercy Gibbs living on Conanicot near Rhode Island in New England tenn pounds of like money.

Item. I Give unto my cosen Edward Davis if he should come here into these Islands in his proper Person, tenn pounds of like money.

Item. I give unto my Son in Law William Place one Negro Boy called Ketoe and tenn pounds of like money when he shall come to Twenty one Years of age and not Before.

Item. I Give unto my Daughter in Law Bethia wife of Jeremiah Leacraft one Negro Girl called Joane, Tenn pounds in money and one Bed with Bedstead and Furniture which her Mother shall see fit.

Item. I Give unto my Loving Wife Rhoda Archer my Dwelling House and Land in Pembroke Tribe aforesaid and all the rest and residue of my Estate real and personal of what Nature kind or Quality whatsoever and do hereby appoint my said wife Executrix and my Loving Friend Mr Thomas Burton Executor in Trust and trade and assist her in the due Execution of this my will and do  give unto him Fourty shillings to buy a  ring  to wear in Rememberance of me In Witness whereof I have herunto Sett my hand and affixed my seal this first day of February 1717/18.
