Minutes of HM Council:  13 February 1715/1716

Att a Council  holden at the  Sessions house in St Georges on Monday,  13th February,  1715/16.

Mr Fflorentius Cox is appointed by this Board one of the Barrons of Exchequer in the room of Capt. John Peasly late deceased, Richard Jennings of Smith Tribe is appointed by this board Collector or Receiver of the money raised or to be raised by Vertue of an Act Intituled an Act to supply the Difficiency of the Several Funds in these Islands for and towardsthe building of a new house for the present and succeeding Governours herein the stead of Capt. John Peasly late deceased.

It is ordered that the Executor or Executors of Capt. John Peasly deceased do fforthwith deliver to the Clerk of this Board all his acco.ts and papers relateing to his receipts p.suant to an Act Intituled an Act to Supply the Difficiency of the several funds in these Islands for and towards the building a new house for the present and succeeding Governours here.

Capt Thomas Brooke, Samuel Sherlock Esq, and Major Henry Tucker are appointed to audite the Publick accounts.
