He married Elizabeth Zeigler. (Elizabeth Zeigler is #92.) Elizabeth was born in Prussia 1837. BIRTH: per 1880 census, v.35 e.d.176 p.25 l.13, lived at 19 Forest St., Brooklyn, Kings Co, NY. House carpenter, age 62, b. Baden, both parents also b Baden. Son "Asmus" age 13, daughter Margaret age 5, both born NY. Note: only 1 or 2 other Schrotts in the 1880 US Census soundex, but they wouldn't be included unless they had a child under 10 years old.
