Aims & Objectives

To promote the study of Family History and Genealogy in our area.
The ancestors of our members have come from all over the world. Our aim is to locate them and learn about their lives.
In this endeavour we listen, discuss and give support, encouragement and suggestions for further research to fellow members.
To aid members in thorough research, in an accurate and ethical manner.
To help in our research we exchange newsletters with a number of genealogical societies, purchase books, fiche, CD's/DVD's for our library.
We welcome donations to our library of materials supporting genealogical research. As well as material relating to pioneers, pioneer life of the area and history of the Quesnel/Barkerville area.
We wish to collect and encourage the preservation of local history.
