Bento Tavares Silva was born in 1857 in Azores, Portugal. He had three sons with Rose Leocadia Moniz between 1873 and 1883.
When Manuel Tavares Sylvia was born on November 2, 1873, in St Michaels, Azores, Portugal, his father, Bento, was 16 and his mother, Rose, was 16. He married Hannah Margaret Sylvia on June 4, 1903, in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Looking for information about any living family members from the ADAO family:
Antonio ADAO died of a heart attack some years ago and worked at a bank. I believe he lived in Biscoitos, Terciera. He had brother whose name was Jose ADÃO. Their father's name was Manuel ADÃO. All of these people have passed but there has to be a living sister and one other brother (maybe in their 70s or 80s). They must also have children who may be in their 40s by now.
