Van CRAENENBROECK, Frederick H.

Frederick H. VanCraenenbroeck, 95, a retired civil engineer who was a veteran of both the Spanish-American War and World War I, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1970, in Phoenix VA hospital. Mr. Van Craenenbroeck was employed from 1935 to 1950 by the US Public Housing Authority in Seattle before retiring to Phoenix 20 years ago. He was born in Chicago and was graduated from the Armour Institute of Engineering. He was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Nell. Cremation followed services in the church. 12/12/1970.

VANDERHOOF, H. William

H. William Vanderhoof, 60, a retired executive for the Bankers Trust Co. of New York, died Thurs., Dec. 10, 1970, in Phoenix Baptist Hospital of a heart attack. Mr. Vanderhoof moved here in July of this year from Huntington, N.Y. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Currie of Phoenix; a son, William, and a brother, both of New York, and four grandchildren. Burial in Glendale Resthaven Cemetery. 12/12/1970.

VASQUEZ, Mary M.

Mary M. Vasquez, 56, who was a native of Mexico and came here in 1917, died Fri., Dec. 11, 1970. Survivors include two sons, Richard and Edward of Phx; a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Garcia of Phx; her father, Salvador Mondragon of Phx; three brothers, Joe, Carlos and Arnold Mondragon, all of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. Elisa Apodaca of Phoenix, and a sister out of state; one grandchild. Mon. 12/14/1970.

VASSAR, Lawrence E.

13 Jan 1933 - Dec 1970
Scottsdale -- Rosary for Lawrence E. Vassar, 38, was recited at Mercer Mortuary. Mass was said in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, South Miller Rd at 2nd St. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery. No other information given. 12/14/1970.
