Nelson's Dockyard National Park

NELSON'S DOCKYARD MUSEUM

The Museum has been reconstructed to tell the story of English Harbour and of the people that toiled and sweated in this famous Georgian naval yard. It also documents the renewed interest in sailing and the aspirations of Nelson's Dockyard National Park. A Library, with copies of original documents and a database of Caribbean naval history, is available for researchers.

The yard was in operation from 1725 until it was abandoned by the navy in 1889. and is now a National Park and regional yachting centre with a fine marina
