The National Archives of Antigua and Barbuda


The National Archives operates under the direction of the Ministry of Education and is housed in a modern building located in Victoria Park, St. John's.

The Building was built with the generous donations of the Rappaport Family and contains facilities for document conservation, modern storage rooms, exhibition space, and a comfortable Reading Room accessible to the Public.

At the present time, access to the Archives via e-mail is under consideration, and as soon as they go on-line the address and contact information will be posted here.

Until then, research inquiries are accepted via postal mail, and research is done at no charge but for copying and postal costs.

When making enquiries to the Archives please provide as much specific information as possible on the person, or family you are interested in. Contact information is provided below:
