This photo taken in 1921 depicts the following:

  • Female Dormitory (steepled structure-top center, now demolished)
  • Infirmary (top right),
  • Chapel (upper right)
  • Male Dormitory (large buildings next to chapel-right of center)
  • Dining Hall (next to male dormitories-with skylights)
  • Powerhouse, (in the center) supplying steam heat to the all of the buildings
  • Laundry Facilities (barely visible in the trees to the left of the female dormitory)
  • Pathological Department (barely visible in the trees to the left of the female dormitory. This building is now the Indiana Medical History Museum)

    The road that runs along the bottom of the picture is Tibbs Avenue.
