Next Monthly Meeting

The third Thursday of each month at 6:30pm at the Farm Bureau Building located in Morrilton unless otherwised announced. 

Genealogy Expo 2012

will be held April 14, 2012, in Clinton, AR at the Clinton Senior Center, 570 Yellowjacket Lane. 

The Expo will begin at 12 noon and go until 4:00.  This is scheduled in conjunction with the Civil War Marker Dedication to be held in Clinton at 10:00 the same day in the Main Street Park.  We would like to invite you to attend both events.  There is no charge and is open to the public.Vendors will be set up at the Expo with genealogy related items for sale as well as books.  Family genealogists will also be set up.  Members of the DAR, SAR, area libraries and museums will also be set up.  For more information email [email protected] or call 501-354-4428.

Jonas Hill was our Revolutionary War Ancestor.  His children were:  Perry,  Bailey, Margaret Ann married Thomas Jefferson Williams;  Henry married Rebecca ?;  Claburn;  Scarlett Anderson married Minerva Guinn;  Martha married Leory P Williams and Bumpus Brinkley; Mary Sidney; Jesse Calloway married Martha Reed and Mary Etta Holmes; William and Elizabeth Hill.  Jonas died in Franklin County Tennessee in 1844.  Mary and most of the children moved to Arkansas and she married David Castleberry.
All descendants are encouraged to come to the Family Reunion and get acquainted.

For those traveling I-40, take the 108 exit and travel north, take the first left past the traffic light, the Farm Bureau Building will be located immediately to your right.
