R. C.  Nooner was born 11 January 1929 in Benton,  Saline County, Arkansas, to Elihue C. and Ruby (Meredith) Nooner. He married  Evelyn Habeeb in 1950; and they were the parents of four children: Marianna Rebecca Nooner, Nancy Susan (Nooner) Carter, Elihue Carleton Nooner and Donald Randolph Nooner.  R. C. served in the U.S. Navy in Korea.  According to his daughter, Susan Nooner Carter, when entering the service, he had to have a name and came up with Rueben Columbus.  After the Korean War,  he worked as Chief Chemist for Amarada Hess, in Corpus Christi, Texas, for seventeen years.  He then operated his own business for many years.

He loved the outdoors--hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed researching his family's genealogy.  R. C. died 6 February 1997 in Corpus Christi, Nueces County,  Texas, and is buried at Seaside Memorial Cemetery in Corpus Christi.

Evelyn (Habeeb) Nooner was born 12 March 1926 in San Francisco, California, to Elilas and Mary Habeeb.  Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Corpus Christi where she lived the rest of her life.

She was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom until later on when she began working with R. C. in his business.

On 5 June 2002, Evelyn died and is buried next to her husband at Seaside Memorial Cemetery.

Donald Randolph Nooner was born 23 May 1959 in Corpus Christi to R. C. and Evelyn Nooner.  As an Eagle Scout, he was the recipient of the Vigil Award.

He attended the University of Texas where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and graduated from Texas A&M at Corpus Christi with a BA in Business Administration.  His career began in the oil and gas business with Arco which led to the position of Deputy to the Energy Advisor of the State of Texas.  Later, he joined the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission, and started his own business, Randolph Outfitters, a haberdashery catering to hunters, fishermen, and sportsman.

On 11 February 2000, Donald passed away and is buried at Seaside Memorial Cemetery.
