Coming North of Hot Springs:
From Park Avenue (Highway 7),
turn LEFT onto Central Avenue (at the fountain by Majestic Hotel);
drive .8 miles and bear RIGHT onto Ouachita Avenue;
drive .04 miles and go past the Garland County Courts Building; next, you will see a parking lot (on the LEFT) that is enclosed by fencing; drive through the gate to the metal building in the back part of the lot; drive around the building -- you may park in the side parking lot; walk all the way around to the back (exact opposite of the front door of the metal building) -- there are the double doors that go into the library
Coming South of Hot Springs:
From the Hot Springs Mall (Highway 7)
drive 4.3 miles north up Central Avenue (SR-7);
turn LEFT (West) onto US-270 Bus [US-70] (also known as Grand Avenue); go .02 miles
turn RIGHT (northwest) onto Hazel Street. Then turn LEFT onto Ouachita (the Garland County Courts Building will be on your left)--then follow the directions as above
Coming West of Hot Springs:
From Wal-Mart on Albert Pike (which is US-270)
drive 1.6 miles and turn LEFT (north) onto US-270 Business (US- 70)
drive 0.3 miles and turn LEFT onto Ouachita Avenue. Go about 1/4 block and turn RIGHT into the fenced parking lot; drive through the gate to the metal building in the back part of the lot; drive around the building -- you may park in the side parking lot, walk all the way around to the back (exact opposite of the front door of the metal building) -- there are the double doors that go into the library.
From the airport on Airport Road (which is US-70)
drive 0.9 miles and keep straight onto US-270 Business US- 70 (which is also known as Albert Pike)
drive straight 1.2 miles and turn LEFT to stay on US-270 Business
drive 0.3 miles and turn LEFT onto Ouachita Avenue. Go about 1/4 block and turn RIGHT into the fenced parking lot; drive through the gate to the metal building in the back part of the lot; drive around the building -- you may park in the side parking lot, walk all the way around to the back (exact opposite of the front door of the metal building) -- there are the double doors that go into the library.
Coming East of Hot Springs
From National Park Medical Center (on US-270 Business—also known as Malvern Road
erive 1.6 miles and turn left onto US-270 Business (US-70)—also known as Grand Avenue (you will go past the Grand/Central intersection)
drive 0.7 miles and turn right onto Hazel Street. Then turn LEFT onto Ouachita (the Garland County Courts Building will be on your left)-- next, you will see a parking lot (on the LEFT) that is enclosed by fencing; drive through the gate to the metal building in the back part of the lot; drive around the building -- you may park in the side parking lot; walk all the way around to the back (exact opposite of the front door of the metal building) -- there are the double doors that go into the library.
Enter into the parking lot for the Garland County Election Commission from the placemark on Ouachita Avenue; park in the parking lot by the second placemark; walk around to the third placemark and enter through the red double doors.
