I do not live in Arkansas (Olympia, WA) but maintain this site due to my interest in Civil War and Arkansas genealogy. I am a former Arkansas resident and most of my ancestors came from or through Arkansas. I and my wife have 13 ancestors who served in the Civil War and I continually research their past and the battles they participated in. But I don't have available any research materials about Arkansas nor do I have access to resources in Arkansas, so limit your questions to me to those about Civil War genealogy research in general and check the resources on this site prior to requesting additional assistance.
