This is an old abandoned cemetery located north of Foreman Arkansas. The general location is: turn left off highway 41 onto a gravel road leading to Arkinda, Arkansas, and then right on a gravel road that belongs to one of the timber companies. The cemetery is in the woods on private property and is very hard to locate, it can’t be seen from the road. The name of the cemetery is Antioch, according to the Little River County Genealogical Society, and there are only three marked graves as follows:

Hardin, Nancy A.  b. 3/10/1841 d. 7/31/1902, Wife of Dr. J.G. Hardin

Smither, Clarrie M.  b. 1/11/1889 d. 4/11/1900, Daughter of  S.A. & A.B. Smither

Smither, J.W.  b. 3/15/1862 d. 6/8/1899, Aged 37 Years,

Remember friends as you

pass by. As you are now so

Once was I but as I am now

You soon shall be

Prepare for death and

Follow me.
