ROY LEE CHILDS (1947-2001)

Roy Lee Childs, age 54 of Banks, died July 26, 2001, in Hampton.

He was born February 18, 1947, in Banks, the son of Thomas Childs and the late Erma Childs.

Survivors include his loving wife, Bobbie Sue Childs; 2 daughters, Angela and Alicia Childs of Banks; his grandson, Maurice Washington of Banks; his father Thomas Childs of Banks; 3 sisters, Tommie Edwards (Roy) of Warren, Annie Davis (Zettie) of Banks, and Absteen Wiley of Warren; mother in law Gladys Collins of Las Vegas, NV; a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 2, 2001, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Banks.

Burial will be in Childs Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.
