Mrs. Bertie Mae Johnson Huitt Grider, age 96, of Hermitage, Arkansas, died Saturday, November 23, 1991, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home in Warren, Arkansas.

She was born October 21, 1895, in Bradley County, Arkansas. She was daughter of the late Beed Johnson and Mary Rasberry Johnson.

She was a retired sitter and a member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Bradley County.

She married Jesse Alvin Huitt, and he died in 1946, and then she married Jim Grider, and he died in 1968.

Surviving are two sons, Jasper Huitt and Lavon Huitt, both of Warren, and 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, November 25, at Union Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Bob Meggs.

Burial was in the Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Timmy Tapia, Steve Franco, Johnny Huitt, Bruce Huitt, Johnny Williams, John Huitt, and Lenn Huitt.

Honorary pallbearers were Hollis Huitt, Marvin Huitt. Otha Mack Huitt, Little Hickman, Wilson Huitt, Roger Huitt, Bobby Huitt, and Gaines Huitt.
