BARKMAN/QUIETT

James
I am seeking information on Thomas QUIETT,
b. May 22, 1829 in TN, and Nancy Ann BARKMAN, b. November 25, 1830 in AR.
They were married in Arkansas Post, Arkansas County, on August 8, 1849.
(Source: Arkansas County Marriage Records) They were living in Villepoint
Township, Arkansas County in 1840. (Source: 1840 Arkansas Census) They
had moved to Washington County by the time of the 1850 Census.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone with
information on either the QUIETT (sometimes spelled with one t, and sometimes
mis-spelled as Quilt, Quist, Quiell, etc.) or BARKMAN families.
One reference I have found states that the
BARKMANs lived on Meto Bayou, but no other reference was made to the family.
I hope someone out there can help me.
