Key School

Key School House that was located about one miles north of Coal Valley  on what was known as Seed Tick & Bully Road. This area was stripped for coal several years ago. I remember as a kid playing in the old building many a day. it was built for a School House and my mother telling me the Church of Christ meeting on one Sunday and the Methodist meeting on the next Sunday. I remember going to Sunday School there when we would visit my grandfather Floyd Jackson, who lived near this site. One of the McDonald boys used it to store hay in for a few years before the building was sold and used to make a barn out of near Clear Creek on Smith Lake.
