Old Prewitt(e) Slave Cemetery Cemetery

Old Prewitt Slave Cemetery is located at the end of Old Byler Road overlooking Lake Tuscaloosa, T 19S, R 10W, S 20. There are about 500 graves in this cemetery, most are unmarked. There is a cemetery committee that takes care of the grounds. Information is recorded as it appears on the tombstone. Surveyed by Greg and Charesa Hester, October 21, 2000.
