The following information is supposed to be data copied from the minutes of the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church at Franconia, near Aliceville, Pickens County, Alabama.

May 20th, 1837

According to a previous appointment, Rev. Thomas Morrow, a member of the Tombigbee Presbytery, proceeded to organize a Presbyterian Church near Mayrehoop store, in the county aforesaid; when the following persons were on certificate, received as members, vis:
