The Montgomery Genealogical Society, Inc. (MGS) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation, and as such, contributors may claim personal federal income tax deductions for cash donations and other selected contributions. Regular meetings are held bimonthly beginning in February and ending in December (6 meetings annually) on the second Sunday of each month, with programs on local and Southern history, genealogy and culture. Membership costs $20 for individual members or for a family membership.
