To reach this cemetery from Florence, take Cox Creek Parkway and turn north onto Helton Drive; go .08 mile to the cemetery. The cemetery is on the right side of the street. It is on the north side of the First Assembly of God Church. The cemetery is 40 yards from the street and it is in some trees, beside of the church parking lot. There are two markers here now; they are broken. I do not know if they are in their proper place. The location of this cemetery is shown on an older map, but no name is given. The legal description is SW4, NE4, S26, T2S, R11W.

Florence Journal, Thursday Aug. 26, 1869, p 2 col 3 Died at Wright & Rice's Foundry on yesterday evening at 8 o'clock, Patton Howell in the 64th year of his age. His burial will take place this afternoon at 5 o'clock in the Cemetery at this place.
