William Anderson Musgrove Store ~ Day Book Accounts (Fayette Co., AL)
Fayette County, Alabama

~ Musgrove Store: Day Book Accounts ~
(circa 1860s/1870s)

The store was located at the back of the home of William Anderson Musgrove, which was in northern Fayette County [see photo].  A room on the front porch of this home served as the post office for the bygone community of Mont Calm (located Sec 6, Twp 14S, Range 12W).  One can assume that Musgrove's customers also lived in this neighborhood.  Their names are listed below in the order in which they appear in the ledger.  [Bracketed remarks added by the transcriber.]
