William R. King
Lt. William R. King died  of disease in Mexican War at  Orizaba, Mexico in
1848 and his body returned home for burial at Bellville Baptist Church
Cemetery.

Sergeant William Michael Fields
( Mike Fields Class of 1965 Evergreen High School )
Let us not forget Sergeant William Michael Fields, casuality of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, SGT Fields served our country until May 12th, 1969 in Binh Duong, South Vietnam. He was 22 years old and was not married. William died from multiple fragmentation wounds.
His body was recovered. William was born on November 20th, 1946 in Evergreen, Alabama.

SGT Fields is on panel 25W, line 068 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.

Corporal James Robert Hammonds
 ( Bobby Hammonds  Class of 1964 Evergreen High School)

Let us not forget Corporal James Robert Hammonds, casuality of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps, CPL Hammonds served our country until
May 1st, 1968 in Quang Tri, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was not married. James died from artillery fire. His body was recovered. James was born on July 28th, 1946 in Evergreen, Alabama.

CPL Hammonds is on panel 53E, line 032 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
