Thompson, Lawrence               d 4 Nov 1864 aged 79 yrs.
Being one of the early settlers of N. A. he was well known to a large circle as a
model man, possessing clear and comprehensive mind. That elevation of character
of which exalted him above every mean artifice in his intercourse with the world.
Judicious in his counsels, benevolent in his character, whereat in his donations to
gospel, institutions. Calm as he descended life, delivery was peaceful in the 
home of death.
